The Hukseflux SR11 Pyranometer is a high-precision instrument designed to measure solar radiation flux. It measures the solar radiation flux incident on a plane from a 180° field of view, with the unit being W/m². Utilizing the thermopile principle, the SR11 generates an output voltage that is proportional to the radiation flux. The sensor s design, which includes a double-layer glass dome, effectively reduces measurement errors, particularly thermal offsets, ensuring extremely high measurement accuracy.
The SR11 Pyranometer is widely used in various fields, including meteorological scientific observation, building physics, climate research, and solar energy collection testing. Its most common application is as part of a meteorological station for outdoor radiation measurement.
