The IMN6-M12-E2C Inductive Proximity Sensor (PNP Normally Open) is a high-performance non-contact detection device specifically designed for industrial automation applications. Featuring a compact cylindrical housing constructed with high-grade engineering plastic and metal composite materials, the sensor demonstrates excellent resistance to oil contamination and corrosion through specialized surface treatment. The M12 threaded interface allows easy mechanical mounting, while the integrated plug connector significantly simplifies wiring operations for rapid deployment.
Operating on electromagnetic induction principle, this sensor automatically generates switching signal output when metallic targets enter its effective detection range. With PNP transistor output configuration and normally open (NO) contact design, it delivers 30V DC/200mA load capacity compatible with various industrial controller input modules. Built-in temperature compensation circuitry ensures stable detection performance across a broad operating temperature range from -25℃ to +85℃, offering 2mm standard detection distance for ferrous materials and ±0.02mm repeatability accuracy.
The sensor comes pre-assembled with flexible cabling featuring abrasion-resistant jacket and 3-pin gold-plated connector for reliable signal transmission. The IP67-rated enclosure provides effective protection against dust ingress and temporary liquid immersion. A dual-color LED indicator at the front enables real-time operational status monitoring. Specially developed anti-electromagnetic interference circuitry effectively filters noise from adjacent equipment, making it suitable for challenging environments such as CNC machining centers, conveyor positioning systems, and robotic end-effectors where strong electromagnetic disturbances are present.
