The OMRON E2K-C25ME1 2M is a high-performance capacitive proximity switch widely used in the field of industrial automation. It operates on the capacitive sensing principle, detecting the presence of objects by sensing the changes in capacitance when they approach the sensing head. This proximity switch features an adjustable long-range detection capability, with a sensing distance range of 3 to 25 mm. It can detect both conductive and dielectric objects, including non-metallic materials such as water and plastic.
With a DC three-wire NPN output specification and a normally open (NO) operation mode, the E2K-C25ME1 2M has a response frequency of 70 Hz. It operates within a voltage range of 12 to 24 VDC and has a maximum current consumption of 16 mA at 24 VDC. The switch also includes reverse polarity protection and surge suppression functions, ensuring stable performance in ambient temperatures ranging from -25 to 70℃.
